Anchorage Park Community House

The community house offers meeting spaces and community programmes. There are two rooms for hire, the Pakuranga room and the Anchorage room, which each accommodate up to 50 people. Features include: kitchen (with fridge, microwave and oven), playground, off-street parking, toilets, air conditioning, heating, chairs and tables (for children and adults).

Barry Curtis Park

Barry Curtis Park has a lot of opportunity for Arts & Culture activations. Accessible carparks and toilets, walking pathways, playgrounds, basketball court and skateparks makes Barry Curtis Park a high foot traffic venue.

Botany Library

Located in the Botany Town Centre, Botany Library has rooms available to book for meetings or workshops. There are two rooms which can be hired. The focus room accommodates up to 12 people; the meeting room accommodates 40 people. Both rooms have wheelchair access, accessible toilets, wi-fi, chairs and whiteboard.

Bucklands and Eastern Beaches War Memorial Hall

The Bucklands and Eastern Beaches War Memorial Hall provides a panoramic view of Bucklands Beach. A sheltered area in front of hall directly faces The Parade. Accommodates up to 320 people. Features include wheelchair access, accessible toilets, kitchen (with oven), off-street parking, chairs and tables.

Fencible Lounge (Howick Library)

The Fencible Lounge was rebuilt as part of the new Howick library complex. A modern, air-conditioned facility, with a central skylight which creates an internal space that is light and airy. Accommodates up to 120 people. Features include wheelchair access, accessible toilets, kitchen (with fridge and oven), off-street parking, chairs and tables.

Pakuranga Rotary Walkway

The popular path, located on edge of the water of the Tāmaki Estuary and Whakaaranga Creek, offers great views up and down the Tāmaki River and to Maungarei (Mt Wellington). The pathway connects to the Half Moon Bay ferry and has public toilets, outdoor gym equipment and ‘snakes and ladders’ picnic.

Te Tuhi

Te Tuhi is one of New Zealand’s foremost contemporary art spaces and a leader in supporting experimental practice. The building also hosts a range of activities including children’s and adult art classes, Art Today, the Nanette Cameron School of Interior design and has rooms for hire by community groups and commercial hirers. Capacity ranges from 10 to 200 guests.

UXBRIDGE Arts & Culture

UXBRIDGE is fortunate to be located in the lively and dynamic heart of Howick. Throughout each year UXBRIDGE delivers a stimulating programme of classes and workshops, events, theatre, performances and exhibitions in Malcolm Smith Gallery. UXBRIDGE also can host programmes including children's musical theatre groups, drama schools, adult and children’s dance groups.
