What does being a mum mean to you?
Being a mum is the greatest privilege and I feel so honoured to be a mother to my son and “mum” to my stepson. My motherhood journey has taught me that being a mum isn’t just about biology - it’s about unconditional love, consistency, and showing up every day.
It’s in the little moments, bedtime snuggles, doing something fun together, celebrating as a family and making special memories together. Being a mum means creating a safe, happy home where our boys are surrounded by love as they grow.
How lucky are we to build a magical childhood for our children, one they’ll remember forever, while instilling values and traditions they can carry into the next generation.
What is special about your mum?
My mum is the strongest and most resilient person I know. Now that I’m a mum myself, I have a whole new level of admiration and appreciation for her. She is always giving, always serving others, and goes above and beyond in everything she does.
Growing up when people would say, “You’re just like your mum,” I couldn’t stand it! But now I’ve come to realise that being compared to her is the greatest compliment. If I am anything like my mum, I’m proud. I just hope I make her proud too.
