Listen Local

Creative Seb Judd (Chequered Patterns) has developed our online directory celebrating local musicians, along with curating a dedicated Spotify playlist featuring their work. To complete the project, he’s built Listen Local — a movable music box that will travel to different venues, so keep an eye out for where it will pop up! First up, it will be at Te Taiwhanga Taiohi, a youth space in Botany Town Centre.

Listen Local is all about championing our homegrown talent. Explore five curated listening stations where you can pop on headphones, dive into an artist’s music, and read their story, a full experience that shines a spotlight on the amazing creatives in our community.
