About Arts Out East
Arts Out East is a community arts service, promoting diverse creative arts in East Auckland. Arts Out East brokers work within the existing creative community, offering guidance in range of arts activities and activations for local audiences. These include art installations, public events, theatre, dance and cultural performances and creative workshops. If you are interested in accessing our support for your project, please get in touch.

Where we work
Arts Out East serves the Howick Local Board area, which is the fifth largest local board, by population, in Aotearoa. This area includes Pakuranga, Bucklands Beach, Flat Bush, Botany, Howick and everywhere in between.
This area of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland is home to a hugely diverse population including large Chinese, Korean and Polish communities. Ngāi Tai hold mana whenua of the area. There is an enormous amount of creative talent here. Arts Out East seeks to support and promote local creative practitioners, and connect them with local audiences.
